Dr Brendon Dunlop is a Western Australian born and trained Anaesthetist. After graduating from the Medical School of The University of Western Australia he worked as a junior Doctor at Royal Perth Hospital and in Ireland. He Trained as an Anaesthetist in Perth and then completed further Fellowship training at Princess Margaret Hospital for Children and The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne.
He has a current appointment as a Consultant Anaesthetist at Fiona Stanley Hospital where he has special interests in anaesthesia for major abdominal and pelvic surgery, endocrine surgery, respiratory procedures, orthopaedics and trauma. There he also holds the position of Supervisor of Training at Fiona Stanley Hospital with a key role in the education and training of future Anesthetists.
