Trained in all bariatric operations including including robotic gastric bypass surgery, hiatus hernia repair and reflux surgery.

Matt Henderson is an Upper Gastrointestinal Surgeon. He graduated from medical school in Johannesburg South Africa before moving to New Zealand where he qualified as a General Surgeon with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2012. He was selected for the Australian and Aotearoa New Zealand Gastric and Oesophageal Surgery Association (AANZGOSA) training program, completing two years of subspeciality training focusing on surgery of the stomach and oesophagus including complex laparoscopic cancer surgery. He has previously held a Senior Lecturer position at Notre Dame University in Fremantle.

Dr. Webber is a General Surgeon with extensive experience in local and international medical settings. After completing Surgical Training in WA, including stints in Perth, Albany, Broome, and Darwin, he obtained a Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in General Surgery in 2013.

He further honed his skills through additional Emergency and General Surgery training, as well as three years focusing on Upper GI surgery at prominent hospitals. Dr. Webber's expertise lies in ERCP, pancreatic malignancy management, laparoscopic liver surgery, robotic pancreatic surgery, and complex bariatric surgical cases. He has undertaken prestigious observerships at the Mayo Clinic and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre.

Dr. Webber is a Consultant Upper GI Surgeon at Fiona Stanley Hospital and collaborates with a multidisciplinary care team. He also consults at two clinics and serves on the Court of Examiners for General Surgery for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Beyond his professional pursuits, Dr. Webber enjoys watersports, reading, and spending time with his young family and pet Vizsla, Frida.

Dr. Hunt is from Western Australia and graduated from medicine at the University of Newcastle with distinction. 

He completed anaesthesia training in Western Australia under the rotational anaesthetic training scheme spending time at all major metropolitan teaching hospitals. He completed subspecialty training in paediatrics (PMH) and regional anaesthesia (SCGH).

Dr. Hunt was awarded a merit certificate for excellence in the primary anaesthetic examination (ANZCA).

He has previously held substantiative positions in major teaching hospitals including Fremantle Hospital and Fiona Stanley Hospital.

Dr. Hunt is an experienced specialist who undertakes various complex bariatric and subspecialty work within anaesthesia as a regular part of his week. 

His interests outside work include being a husband, and father, loving his family, attending a place of worship, catching fish and supporting the mighty Fremantle Football Club.

Dr. Brendon Dunlop is from Western Australia. He graduated from the University of Western Australia. 

He trained as a doctor at Royal Perth Hospital and in Ireland. 

His Anaesthetic training was at hospitals throughout Perth.  He completed further Fellowship training at Princess Margaret Hospital for Children and The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne.

He has a current appointment as a Consultant Anaesthetist at Fiona Stanley Hospital. He has special interests in anaesthesia for bariatric surgery, major abdominal and pelvic surgery, endocrine surgery, respiratory procedures, orthopaedics and trauma. 

He is the Supervisor of Training at Fiona Stanley Hospital with a key role in the education and training of future Anesthetists.

Dr. Miad Habibi is a full-time Private Specialist Anaesthetist who holds accreditation at many private hospitals in the Perth region. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Adelaide and completed Specialist training with a fellowship year including Obstetric Anaesthesia.  He currently serves as Head of Department at SJOG Mt Lawley.

Dr. Habibi has experience across many Anaesthetic specialties. His practice includes providing anaesthesia focused on Orthopaedics, Urology, Bariatric surgery, ENT, Plastics, Pain and Obstetrics.

After enjoying a day of work, his outside interests include all things creative.

Dr. Sinnadurai trained in Malaysia receiving his Master’s Degree in Anaesthesia from the University of Malaysia. He’s a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists.

He regularly anaesthetises for complex robotic surgery lists across bariatric and urology lists.

Julia is originally from Germany and lived in a small community in the Western Australian desert. She then completed a Bachelor in Nutrition Bioscience in 2018 and a Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics at Edith Cowan University in Perth in 2020.

Julia also works as a clinical Dietitian at Fiona Stanley Hospital across multiple medical specialities and has a guest lecturing role at Edith Cowan University, Joondalup.

Among a wide variety of health conditions, her interests include Bariatric Surgery.

Julia focuses on guiding clients through contradictory and misleading diet information to help develop a healthy relationship with food.
